Cozy Corner
The
Cozy Corner is a variety store located at 501 Box Elder
(4 blocks E of Rosebud Foods, across from CPRD).
They carry a variety of items, both new & used. The largest inventory being
clothing, including socks and shoes. Other items are: furniture, gifts, toys,
movies, craft supplies, party supplies (candles, cards, decorations), household
items such as: towels, sheets, dishes, pots & pans, etc. The Cozy Corner has
recently started stocking items such as fishing lures, pocket knives & jewelry.
The store also sells welding caps & fleece blankets handcrafted by Triena. She
does mending & minor alterations as well.
Cozy Corner opened its doors in the fall of 1999. It is owned & operated by Ron
& Velvet Alder and Triena Warfield.
Ron has been a Colstrip resident since 1971, Velvet joined him in 1981. They
have 4 children & one granddaughter.
Triena is Velvet’s mother, who moved to Colstrip in 1999 to help with the store.
She has two other children, 9 grandchildren, & 1 great grandchild.
Their hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10 - 6, Saturday 10 - 5.
