State Farm Insurance
My name is Shan Kuntz and I took over the State Farm Insurance Agency in January
of 2007 just after the prior agent Pat Payer had retired. I was born and raised
in Wolf Point, MT. I graduated with a Finance degree in May of 1988 from Eastern
Montana College in Billings. Shortly after college I moved to Salem, Oregon to
start my career with State Farm Insurance. After 18 years as an employee I
decided it was time to come back to Montana and was selected for the agency
opportunity in Forsyth & Colstrip.
We are a full service agency providing insurance and financial services. In
addition to our full range of insurance products we also offer bank products
through State Farm Bank and mutual funds via State Farm Mutual Funds. We are
open Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and are available by phone 24 hours
a day at 1-800-829-7341. I’m also available evenings and on Saturday by
appointment. Our offices are located at 933 Main in Forsyth and 1 Cherry Street
in Colstrip.
We have just completed our 3rd successful year and look forward to many more great years in both Forsyth & Colstrip. We are proud of our success, but we also realize that it wouldn’t be possible without the great support we’ve received from both communities. In addition, I’m blessed to have a wonderful experienced team helping me to meet the needs of our customers. In the Forsyth office, Penny Teeters (20 years of experience w/ State Farm) and Stephanie Nielson (3 years of experience) and in Colstrip Joanne Schrupp (2 ½ years of experience).
Our mission is simple we want to help people manage the risks of everyday life,
recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams. In addition, each of us is
actively involved in our communities and do what we can to make our towns a
better place to live. We love our clients and will work harder than anyone else
to take care of their needs.
